President Bola Tinubu, yesterday, revoked the nomination of Imam Kashim Imam as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).
The appointment of the 24-year-old fresh graduate had sparked reactions across the federation.

Besides, the Nigerian leader approved the appointment of eight new Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) for parastatals and agencies under the Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

The appointments, which take immediate effect, include National Orientation Agency (NOA) Director-General/CEO, Lanre Issa-Onilu; Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Director-General, Salihu Abdulhamid Dembos; Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) Director-General, Dr. Muhammed Bulama and National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) Director-General, Charles Ebuebu.

Others are Voice of Nigeria (VON) Director-General,Jibrin Baba Ndace; Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) Director-General, Dr. Lekan Fadolapo; News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Managing Director / CEO),Ali Muhammed Ali and Nigerian Press Council (NPC) Executive Secretary, Dili Ezughah.

He charged them to innovate and create new opportunities for Nigerians to leverage upon to unify, reshape mindsets and showcase the country to the rest of the world.

Also, the President appointed Muhammed Abu Ibrahim as Executive Secretary of the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF).

He directed the new leadership to dismantle all barriers to efficient access to provisional funding in the sector.

His spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement, yesterday, said the appointment takes immediate effect.
