Pythons Don’t Dance, Pythons Squeeze Life Out Of Their Prey: A Warning To Nnamdi Kanu And IPOB

Pythons Don’t Dance, Pythons Squeeze Life Out Of Their Prey: A Warning To Nnamdi Kanu And IPOB

The operation Python dance of the Nigerian Military in the south East part of Nigeria to curb the rising trouble of Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB group (Indigenous People Of Biafra) has deep connotations than the way it appears on the surface. The depiction of the operation with a python is something every IPOB agitator should sit back a little while, and think deeply while the name was coined around one of the most deadly snakes in Asia and Africa.

The fact that this particular operation was launched by the Nigerians military should send a signal to the Biafra agitators, that the Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government is not joking about the unity of this nation, at least not in this present administration.

A brief description of Pythons simply shows that they are constrictors. Whenever they wrap themselves around their prey, what they do is simply to squeeze life out of them until they die. The moment their prey takes their last breath, they are then swallowed. Their mode of attacking their prey is also phenomenal. When pythons are killing their prey, they use a kind of ambush technique in which they’ll jump out at whatever the prey is, and strike at it and grab the prey with their teeth. They’ll seize the prey item with their teeth and simultaneously wrap their coil around it and squeeze.

If Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB followers aren’t warned and desist from this madness while it lasts, these ‘Python dancer soldiers’ will unleash hell on them in no time. It is no coincidence now that the group has been labeled a terror group by the Military. This will give them the opportunity to treat them as such. Reasons given by the military for the declaration include formation of Biafra National Guard, unauthorized blocking of public access roads; extortion of money from innocent civilians at illegal roadblocks, and militant possession and use of weapons (stones, Molotov cocktails, machetes and broken bottles among others) on a military patrol on September 10, 2017.

Although many have openly refute this declaration by the Nigerian Military as unconstitutional, including the Senate President. He said in a statement on Monday that “The announcement of the proscription of the group known as Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) by Governors of the South-east states and the categorization of the group as a ‘terrorist organization’ by the Nigerian military are unconstitutional and does not follow due process.”

However, a Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday granted an order filed by the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, declaring the activities of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) as “acts of terrorism and illegality.” The approval of the AGF’s motion came after the Nigerian military backtracked and insisted that it had not declared IPOB a terrorist organization.

The order also proscribed the existence of IPOB throughout Nigeria, with particular attention paid to the South-East and South-South regions. This latest information however is to buttress that the Nigerians Military would not open its eyes and allow the activities of IPOB to degenerate into another Boko Haram, unleashing evil on innocent lives and properties in the nation.
