In the book of Matthew 6:25-27, The Bilble says, "take no thought for your life". In other words, don't be anxious. This scriptural passage doesn't say you should not plan or think about your life. So, there is nothing wrong in planning. Planning has to do with foresight. Luke 14:28 says that who is it among you that will want to build a house, and will not first of all sit down and count the cost, whether he has sufficient fund to complete it? This is simply talking about planning. From here, we can see that God is not against us planning for our lives or future. But anxiety is the thought about the future that gets you off balance as a believer, such that it makes you to do things that are not of faith. Anxiety punctures ones confidence in God.
You will know you are anxious when thanking God for other peoples blessings becomes difficult. The thought of what to eat and what to put on as made some believers unecessarily anxious. Your life is more valuable than food and clothing materials. Food doesn't sustains a man's life. As a matter of fact, you are not made for food, but rather; food was designed and created for you. The life of faith plans, and also commit the plans to God so that it will be devoid of anxiety. Our confidence must be in God daily. He is our source and sustainer. So, what it means is that when I am planning, I am doing that in faith and confidence in God. Hebrews 10:35.
We live a life of faith. But if we live our life for food or what we will put on, then we have reduced the life of God in us to corruptible things. At the point when these things don't bother you anymore, then it means you have started living. InPhillipians 4:19, Apostle Paul was so sure that God will supply all his/our needs by Christ Jesus. Isaiah 26:3 says God will keep the one who trusts in him in perfect peace. This peace is what we should watch out for and keep-staying ones gaze on the word of God. (John 14:27, Philippians 4:6). Give thanks and be happy that God is able to meet all your needs. (1Peter:5:7)
Gone were the days when people say 'Heavens help those that help themselves'. But the truth is Heaven doesn't not help those who help themselves, but rather, as believers, Heaven helps us. God is mindful of us at all times. So, in this consciousness, we trust in Him absolutely. Matthew 7:7. Asking justifies God's giving for us. He says if your earthly fathers knows how to give good gifts unto you whenever you ask, how do you now reason that your heavenly father will not bless you whenever you ask of him. There is a mindset of faith-a way to get God involved in our life. This mindset works like a magnet, it can either attracts God to our situation, or repels his presence whether we find ourselves.. When we become unnecessarily anxious, we loose our peace, and this may repel God's presence around us.
Anxiety doesn't change anything. It will even change you for the worse. The purpose of anxiety is to change and affect your inner structure, so; do not allow it. Many a times God is pointing the way to us, but because we are anxious, we won't see it. God is a God of peace. He will teach us all things. Ignorance and lack is not a reason to be anxious. Be anxious for NO-THING. BE IT ACADEMIC, MARRIAGE, FINANCE AND SO ON. When it seems like your mind is perturbed, go to God in prayer. Pray in tongues if possible. When you walk In faith, you don't deal with people, but with the WORD of God. Faith is not a formula, it is an attitude, a mindset, a lifestyle.
God's words don't only blow up our spirit, but it imparts our lives and makes us see things differently. The mindset of faith makes you see things differently. So, when thee devil is trying to make you see problems and anxieties, you simply turn it down and look into the perfect law of liberty for solutions. The fact that there is a problems means a solution already exists. Solutions were before problems. The lamb of God has been there even before the fall of man. Your mindset is a magnet, it can attract and repel. Change the way you think about God. It may take time before your thought pattern changes, but it will change. The son of God has come and had given us an understanding on the way to see and percieve things. Don't see yourself in the wrong, but in the rightness of God.
